Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing and De-installation: Pack and de-install various fine art and furniture in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Artwork Inspection: Inspect artworks to determine the best packing and handling methods.
  • Packing and Wrapping: Pack and wrap artworks professionally in various settings, including corporate and residential properties.
  • Client Interaction: Interact with art professionals and collectors to ensure their artwork is handled with care.
  • Paperwork and Administration: Efficiently handle paperwork, labeling, packing lists, and detailed condition reports with photographs.
  • Packing Supplies: Order packing supplies and cases for export.
  • Art Fairs: Assist in art fairs in the UK and across Europe.
  • Customer Service: Represent the company by demonstrating high levels of customer service and a smart appearance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in moving fine art, with the ability to efficiently wrap, pack, load, and tie in artworks for safe transportation.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of basic art terminology, packing materials, and packing methods.
  • Skills: Install and de-install skills, excellent attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • IT Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment and alone.
