Practice Nurse Role

The Prince of Wales Surgery in Dorchester and Portesham is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join their friendly and professional team. As a key member of the nursing team, you will provide assessment, treatment, screening, health education services, and advice to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cytology and wound care services
- Manage chronic diseases clinics, including diabetes management
- Conduct routine immunisations and vaccinations
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and records
We require a registered nurse with experience in primary care, preferably with skills in childhood and travel vaccinations, cytology, and wound care. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for developing nursing and healthcare skills.
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 6 weeks annual leave pro rata, full paid indemnity cover, and continuous learning and development opportunities.
