Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified social worker to join our team at Sefton Council's Adult Community Team. As a social worker, you will be responsible for undertaking complex cases, including assessment and management of risks, and providing reliable knowledge and expertise to peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex cases, including assessment and management of risks.
  • Recognized by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise, demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.
  • Oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required.
  • Give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in Adults.
