Transport Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Sunblink Ltd-GRN. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily and weekly work schedules, accommodating additional customer orders, and managing driver and vehicle compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with regulations
  • Manage driver training and development programs to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental, and company policies
  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve any issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics or transportation planning
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
