We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a "Good" Ofsted rated school in the Thetford area. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience. A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
