Oswaldtwistle library is seeking volunteers to assist with activities for adults, promoting mental health and wellbeing. The volunteer will help ensure the smooth running of library social events, including coffee mornings, music recitals, and craft activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming library users and engaging with them to tackle social isolation.
  • Helping with event promotion, setup, and refreshments.
  • Log volunteering hours and submit expenses via an online system.
  • Complete minimum level training, such as safeguarding, and commit to further training.

Training will be provided, and volunteers must complete required training before any activity can be undertaken.
