Job Title: Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and support for babies experiencing physical eating and drinking difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, with experience in working with neonates and infants. You will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based practice, providing training and supervision to colleagues, and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialist assessment and support for babies experiencing physical eating and drinking difficulties.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based practice in speech and language therapy.
  3. Provide training and supervision to colleagues.
  4. Contribute to the development of our service, including policy development and service improvement projects.
  5. Act as a clinical lead for paediatric dysphagia, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with neonates and infants.
  • Strong background in speech and language therapy.
  • Ability to develop and implement evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
