About UsTurning Point, a leading provider of substance use services, is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions across Lincolnshire, ensuring that our services are accessible, effective, and person-centered.
Your RoleYou will be responsible for providing clinical guidance, training, and leadership to our team members, as well as offering practical advice on trauma-informed evidence-based psychological interventions to colleagues, local agencies, and organizations. Your expertise will also be utilized to build innovative approaches with people who use substances, improving referral pathways, and joint delivery for service users experiencing both substance use and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead psychology input to local governance meeting structures, including clinical governance meetings, mortality and morbidity review processes, and multi-disciplinary complex case meetings.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies across Lincolnshire to improve referral pathways and joint delivery for service users experiencing both substance use and mental health issues.
- Represent Turning Point on strategic partnership meetings across Lincolnshire, building strong professional links with other statutory and voluntary service providers.
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to Practitioner Psychologists and Psychotherapists.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A doctorate in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Up-to-date registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven ability to deliver psychological services, with a focus on substance use and mental health.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to the Recovery Agenda.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 26 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service up to 28 days + Bank Holidays.
- The option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
