Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager M&A to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the year-end and half year-end financial statement reporting processes, producing reporting in accordance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the year-end and half year-end financial statement reporting processes to produce reporting in accordance with IFRS and relevant statutory requirements
- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of significant elements within the Annual Report
- Key point of contact for external auditors ensuring planning and execution of the year end audit and half year review are well managed and ensuring information requests and deadlines are met
- Liaising with the relevant departments on the preparation of information for the year-end audit and the half year review
- Ownership of the timely preparation of annual financial statements for the Group's UK subsidiaries
- Assist in implementing new accounting standards and other reporting requirements, working with colleagues across finance to embed the required processes
- Support in the development of relevant Ocado Group reporting policies and manuals, providing insight across the wider finance community
- Contribute to commercial projects such as acquisitions; providing guidance and advice on reporting implications
About You:
We are looking for a qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE, with strong technical knowledge of IFRS and experience of preparing/auditing listed entity financial statements under IFRS. Experience within a large-scale plc reporting environment, in a fast-paced, high growth, global organisation is essential.
