We are seeking a highly skilled Item Checker to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority. As an Item Checker, you will play a crucial role in reviewing questions, items, or tasks for course assessments under the direction of the Principal Assessor. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and validating assessment materials to ensure they meet the required standards. You will work closely with the Principal Assessor to ensure that all assessment materials are accurate, reliable, and meet the needs of our stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading awarding body and contribute to the development of high-quality assessments. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Review and validate assessment materials to ensure accuracy and reliability
* Work closely with the Principal Assessor to ensure that all assessment materials meet the required standards
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure that assessment materials are aligned with our quality standards
* Identify and report any issues or concerns related to assessment materials
