Team Leader Opportunity at Sunnybank House

Sunnybank House, a luxurious residential and dementia care home in Eastleigh, is seeking a skilled Team Leader to join their team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of resident care and supporting the overall success of the care home.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate resident assessments, ensuring resident involvement and integration of information into care plans.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely communication of resident information to achieve a person-centred approach.
  3. Work closely with the team to ensure appropriate care levels are in place at all times.
  4. Deliver and manage medication administration processes, including robust auditing procedures.
  5. Recruit and manage the care team, ensuring efficient use of contracted hours and monitoring recruitment needs.
  6. Communicate regularly with family members regarding resident needs and progress.
  7. Manage team member absence and conduct return-to-work sessions.
  8. Provide daily coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ 3 essential, NVQ 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management (desirable).
  2. Two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  3. Experience of planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care delivery.
  4. Experience of working with older people.
