The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum. You will foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.

You will provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities, and collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

You will assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour.

You will communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements
  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
