The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer/Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality scheduled and unplanned/reactive maintenance across our dairy site. Your primary objective will be to identify root causes and bring equipment back into service as quickly as possible, while also seeking and implementing cost-effective improvements to site assets and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure you are conversant with all relevant drawings, including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical.
  • Develop and maintain basic automation skills for fault finding and remediation, with strong electrical skills and sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement.
  • Diligently complete all maintenance tasks, including PM, CBM, CI, and corrective maintenance, and contribute to FMEA activities when required.
  • Identify and implement improvements to site assets and equipment.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • HNC Electrical or Mechanical with additional electrical qualification or competence.
  • Automation skills, including CI tools and techniques.
  • Experience within maintenance and manufacturing industries.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • IOSHH/Nebosh certification desirable.
