An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 registered nurse to join the Adult Stoma Care Nurses (SCN) Team to deliver a high-quality, effective, and forward-thinking stoma care service based at Nottingham University Hospitals, covering across campuses. Both full-time and part-time working patterns will be considered.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist nursing interventions to achieve and maintain the highest standards of stoma care within the hospital and outpatient setting.
- Be responsible for delivering a high-quality, effective, and forward-thinking stoma care service.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of stoma care policies and procedures.
- First-level registered nurse with evidence of post-registration experience and professional development.
- Relevant specialist knowledge and skills in stoma care and colorectal pathway.
- Ability to be flexible and organized in the workplace.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritize workload and recognize and respond to urgent situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use Office programs.
