Job Description

Role:
Simulator Operator (Active SC Clearance Required)

Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Submarine Command Team Trainer (SCTT) simulation desk, ensuring training scenarios are up-to-date and correctly loaded.
Assist with checks and preparation before training sessions, reporting defects and anomalies to training and maintenance staff.
Input training scenarios and ship manoeuvres as directed, manipulating scenario contacts and role-playing as needed.
Discuss training needs with senior officers and build scenarios, providing a comprehensive training experience.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Enter data and manage records in the on-site performance system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Manage training scenarios and game settings, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
Order and manage stationery supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.
Administer shared computer files on SharePoint, maintaining a secure and accessible environment.
Act as Pathfinder Bridge Navigation Trainer Facilitator, coordinating training sessions and ensuring a smooth experience.
Coordinate mandatory training, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform administrative tasks for the section and FOST organization, providing support to the team.
Improve personal skills and effectiveness, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Windows-based operating systems.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent, including English Language or equivalent.
NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or suitable clerical experience.
