About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading automation projects from design to commissioning, managing the full project lifecycle, and collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead automation projects from design to commissioning, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, testing, and handover, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and project management teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Perform system upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Travel to client sites as required to support project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in automation project delivery with software focus.
  • Proficiency with Rockwell Automation/Siemens.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex control systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and industrial networking.
  • Knowledge of robotics and motion control.
