About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Support Assistant to join our In-house property legal team.

The successful candidate will provide essential legal administrative support for leasehold and freehold transactions, and will be the primary contact for customers, estate agents, and managers to gather and relay all relevant information regarding potential transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer and Representative Liaison: Gather and relay all relevant information regarding potential transactions.
  • Compliance Management: Consult and ensure compliance with lease eligibility criteria.
  • File Management: Open and manage conveyancing/property files efficiently.
  • Query Escalation: Escalate queries promptly, ensuring effective communication between all parties (internal and external).
  • Administrative Support: Gather necessary documentation to formally commence the conveyancing process and escalate it to the relevant Conveyancing Executives and Solicitors.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly, explain requirements, and respond to queries effectively.
  • Initiative and Deadline Management: Use initiative to manage tasks and be mindful of deadlines.
  • Documentation: Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A-levels (or equivalent)
  • Previous legal experience and/or legal qualifications
  • Willingness to study for a legal qualification (ideal)

Experience in managing and administering large caseloads, excellent customer service skills, understanding of effective and prompt information sharing, and previous in-house experience (advantageous but not essential) are also desirable.
