Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at IronMarket Talent. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely management reports to the Finance Director and the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly financial results ahead of submission.
- Provide accurate and timely analysis of monthly management accounts.
- Review and improve all finance department reporting, both internal and external to the department.
- Hold overhead reviews with budget holders across the business to drive change throughout the business, with an emphasis on efficiency and cost saving.
- Manage the company's cash position by maintaining cashflow forecasts and highlighting any potential future issues.
- Manage and complete the Annual Budget process including review with the Senior Leadership Team and budget holders.
- Manage the monthly forecasting process throughout the year, ensuring the submission of monthly forecasts to Finance Director.
- Lead, manage and develop the Finance team, ensuring that workload is fairly and evenly distributed, that staff are supported.
Requirements:
- Ideally have a proven track record in a manufacturing environment however other sectors will be considered.
- CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Ideally you will have experience working at a similar level within a manufacturing business.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring a team.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Efacs ERP system (or similar).
