Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Flow Specialist to join our London team. As a key member of our Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in tracking, reconciling, and processing expenses.

About the Position
  • You will assist in month-end close procedures by preparing reconciliations and analyses, recording accruals for unbilled expenses, and resolving expense discrepancies within our accounting system.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to streamline invoice entry and payment processes.
  • You will work closely with other team members, including our accounting-specific technology team, to improve processes and ensure our goals are met.
  • You will review and amend expense reports for accuracy and completeness to meet financial reporting and tax requirements, and record entries for self-assessed VAT.
  • You will provide guidance and assistance to colleagues throughout the firm on our policies and procedures for submitting firm expenses.
  • You will oversee the status of the monthly corporate credit card process by communicating with individual cardholders and approvers, tracking card balances throughout the month, and ensuring statements are ready to be paid in a timely fashion.
About You
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or expense control.
  • You have a working knowledge of prepaids, accruals, VAT, and an understanding of how those concepts fit into the broader world of accounts payable.
  • You are detail-oriented and motivated to look for process improvements where possible.
  • You are an organised self-starter with strong time management skills; you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.
  • You are a clear and proactive communicator who is able to build strong collaborative relationships across various groups within the firm.
  • You are knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and able to critically analyse data.
  • Financial services background and knowledge in UK GAAP are a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.

PAY: We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
