About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead our team of therapists in delivering high-quality care to our service users. As a Speech and Language Therapist - Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading group therapeutic sessions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group therapeutic sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes to ensure optimal patient progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care delivery and address complex patient needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and caregivers to promote engagement and empowerment.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and industry developments to ensure the highest quality care delivery.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience in managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
  • Experience working with families and individuals with complex communication needs.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to staying current with industry developments.
