General Practice Audit Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled General Practice Audit Accountant to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group Ltd. As a key member of our General Practice team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients at various stages of their business lifecycle.

Our General Practice teams provide a range of services to clients, including annual audits, financial planning, and business advisory services. As a General Practice Audit Accountant, you will work closely with our clients to gain a deep understanding of their operations and aspirations, identifying opportunities to add value and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead audit teams on fieldwork and review workpapers and accounts files prepared by staff
  2. Review corporation tax returns and computations, as well as VAT returns
  3. Draft replies to client questions and provide expert advice on financial matters
Requirements:
  1. ACA/ACCA qualified or an alternative equivalent qualification
  2. Minimum three years' experience of auditing, preparing company accounts and corporation tax returns
  3. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player
  6. Commercial awareness and the ability to demonstrate business acumen
  7. Professionalism and self-motivation

Our salary for part-qualified candidates is £27-35k, qualified candidates is £40-45k, negotiable depending on experience, potentially negotiable further plus benefits.
