Job Title: CNC Night Shift Machinist

**About the Role:**We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a CNC Night Shift Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components for formula one race cars and external customers. The successful candidate will work on a 6-month contract, with a 20:00 to 06:30 night shift schedule. The hourly rate for this position is £31 per hour.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Produce high-quality components in a time-effective manner to meet demands.
  • Communicate with TPP, collaborate with machinists, and ensure best practice is established.
  • Carry out inspections, collect shop floor data, and record using Data Collection Software.
  • Ensure smooth handovers and communicate production information to other shifts.
  • Communicate ideas for more efficient production to the Supervisor/Team Leader.


**Requirements:**
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing metallic and non-metallic components.
  • Strong knowledge of setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes/Turn-Mill machine tools.
  • Able to run multiple machines and plan-ahead.
  • Recognised apprenticeship or relevant experience in precision engineering.
  • Good depth of machining knowledge in CNC and Manual environments.
  • Take pride in work and work with minimal supervision.
