Fire Alarm Systems Engineer

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fire Alarm Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer. As a key member of our EVI engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering all aspects of Fire Alarm Systems works, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to EVI's 5* Customer Promise
- Undertake and assist engineers with installations, commissioning, service, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems
- Conduct system demonstrations, handovers, and training to clients and/or representatives as necessary
- Attend general service/repairs and maintenance visits, ensuring compliance with legislation and safety protocols
- Provide technical support to colleagues and customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Ensure works are completed in a professional manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain regular communication with clients and site contacts throughout the duration of works
- Provide detailed and clear reports as required, both written and video
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times by engineers on site
- Assist in production of Health & Safety documents as required
- Complete PII's for all installation works
- Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with EVI's standards and procedures
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, including installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within the Fire Alarm System industry
- Relevant qualifications and training, such as FIA or similar
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS Card
- SSSTS Certified
- IPAF Certified (desired)
- PASMA Certified (desired)
The Package
Salary - £40,000 per annum plus overtime and out of office hours work
Hours of work - 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) + OOH/OT
Holiday – 20 days per annum (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years) plus 8 Bank Holidays
