About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our successful Structures division. As our Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all health, safety, and environmental aspects of our major construction and bridge refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with 45001 standards.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments and Safety Audits: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on site to ensure compliance with health and safety practices and environmental measures.
  3. Ensure Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations to 14001 standards.
  4. Participate in Project Meetings: Participate in project meetings to provide input on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  5. Support Project-Specific Plans: Support the development of project-specific health, safety, and environmental plans and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health and safety and environmental performance.
  6. Lead on Industry Best Practices: Keep up to date on industry best practices and lead on initiatives to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the business.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Compliance Manager with excellent knowledge of structural engineering and bridges. You will hold a NEBOSH or a NVQ Level 5 qualification and be able to drive with a full UK driving license.
