About the Role:

Motus Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Children Advocacy Specialist to join our team as a Child Custody Lawyer. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of private children work or a mix of private children and divorce/finance matters, depending on their preference and experience. This role requires a strong background in family law, with a particular emphasis on private children work, and a proven ability to navigate complex and emotionally charged cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of private children work or a mix of private children and divorce/finance matters
  • Work closely alongside supportive colleagues, including Legal 500 rated partners
Benefits:
  • A highly competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, reflecting the complexity and sensitivity of this work

Requirements:
  • 2+ years PQE in family law, with a proven track record in private children work
  • An excellent understanding of the emotional and psychological complexities involved in child custody cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
