Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Composite Inspector to join our Quality team in a Weekend Shift role.

About the Role:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of finished and in-process composite components.
  2. Develop and write inspection programs within the Polyworks Metrology Suite.
  3. Perform geometric validation of jigs, patterns, moulds, and components.
  4. Communicate quality assurance reports to internal manufacturing teams in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Demonstrate flexibility and understanding in meeting departmental needs.
  6. Work proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times, respecting and complying with the company's reporting structure.
  7. Maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience within a composite manufacturing environment.
  2. A thorough understanding of Polyworks Metrology Suite.
  3. Experience working with Romer Arms and Laser Trackers.
  4. An understanding of detailed technical drawings.
  5. Ability to interpret layup tables.
  6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. Good understanding of engineering processes.
  8. Methodical and thorough approach to work.
  9. Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours.
  10. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
  11. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  12. Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
