Nurse Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit within a forward-thinking nursing team. The unit provides a wide range of services for babies, children, and young people with various medical and surgical conditions, offering excellent learning opportunities.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will provide high-quality care to patients without direct supervision and participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff. They will also contribute to the maintenance of an environment conducive to delivering high standards of patient care by promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.
Person Specification- Teaching and assessing qualification
- Experience in an acute care setting, either as a nursing student or within the first year as a new entrant to the profession
- Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of IT packages such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering
- Manchester triage training
