About the Role

Cumberland is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support in teaching and learning. This part-time, fixed term contract opportunity requires a qualified individual to assist in delivering high-quality education to our students, with a focus on helping children develop a love of learning.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies, be able to recognise and respond to individual pupil needs, and use initiative to develop engaging learning activities. A strong ability to build positive working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues is also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • • Teach and assist in supporting children in developing a love of learning
    • Provide tailored support to meet individual pupil needs

Requirements and Salary:
At least a Teaching Assistant NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification required. Estimated salary: £24,500 - £28,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
