Nursery Room Leader Position

Blom and Blom is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their team in Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of the nursery.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and be able to support children throughout their Early Years stages. They will be responsible for planning, preparing, and evaluating daily activities, as well as carrying out observations and providing next steps to enhance children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Work closely with parents and carers to promote children's progress
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum and policies
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality childcare

Requirements:

  • A level 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification (e.g. NVQ, NNEB, CACHE)
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and observations procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
