Education Support Specialist

Protocol Education, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as teaching assistants in various schools within Hertfordshire. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young learners, aged 4-11.
The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time opportunity, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
This role would either be supporting the class teacher to maintain a focused and engaged learning environment or providing one-to-one support for children with special needs. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing resources and learning activities
- Providing support to learners on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Serving as a positive role model in the classroom
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and fostering a love for learning
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Confidence and motivation to guide individuals/small groups in their learning
