Job Title: Information Risk and Security Manager

Job Summary:

Uniting People is seeking an experienced Information Risk and Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing information security risks across all divisions of our global business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement information security governance processes, policies, and standards to support complex decisions and emerging threats.
  2. Lead information security training and awareness programs to ensure colleagues understand their role in maintaining the security of our department, organization, and business goals.
  3. Collaborate with the wider GRC team to identify and manage risks associated with third-party compliance processes.
  4. Develop information security risk management strategies and controls, balancing technical, physical, procedural, and personnel controls.
  5. Lead complex risk assessments and interface with senior management to ensure effective risk mitigation.
  6. Produce a monthly Risk Dashboard for board-level review.

Requirements:

  1. Significant experience in implementing and maintaining global information security and risk frameworks (ISO 27001 family, NIST CSF, CIS, NYC500).
  2. 10+ years of experience working across security domains in large organizations.
  3. Demonstrable experience in assessing and managing risk, including third-party risk.
  4. Professional certification (ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/CISM/CISSP/CRISC) and membership of professional bodies or evidence of commitment to continual professional development.
  5. Security incident response experience.
  6. Demonstrable proactive team development and remote management skills, with global team experience an advantage.
  7. Strong knowledge of global security regulations and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £57,355.00-£63,101.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
