Senior Psychiatrist in General Adult Mental Health with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust

About the Role
The post holder will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs, working as part of the Greenwich East Intensive Case Management for Psychosis Team (ICMp) with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be expected to attend multi-disciplinary team meetings, case discussion meetings, and weekly referrals meetings within the team.
You will also be responsible for chairing review/CPA meetings, offering crisis appointments to patients in the red zone, and providing home visits and telephone advice to general practitioners and other professionals involved in the care of service users on the caseload.
The post holder will have 4 formal outpatient clinics a week, with 4-5 patients booked per clinic. You will be responsible for screening new referrals and ensuring that they receive a prompt assessment from the team.
There is protected time for administrative work, and the post holder will be supported with any digital/electronic/technological help as required to facilitate timely communication with GPs, referrers, and partner agencies.
