We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Oldham.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations
  • Developing forecasts and budgets
  • Overseeing the sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in processes
  • Providing financial advice and guidance to the management
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Developing long-term business plans based on reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience preparing the full set of management accounts
  • Strong stakeholder experience
  • A part qualified studier or qualified by experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • The ability to strategise and solve problems
