Health Visitor

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Visitor to join our team in East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide health and wellbeing services to children and families, including health checks, vaccinations, and health advice.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, midwives, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to healthcare.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families.
- Conduct home visits and provide support to families in their own homes.
- Work with other agencies, including education and social services, to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children and families.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Qualification in Health Visiting or Public Health Nursing.
- Experience of working with children and families in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
