We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at SMarter Recruitment. As a Train Painting Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting trains and an understanding of various techniques and materials. They will also be required to mix paints and other materials according to specifications, operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, and ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized during the painting process.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in painting trains.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
Compensation and Benefits
