Residential Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Residential Housekeeper to join our team at Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our residential homes.

Job Requirements:

1. Carry out daily cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
2. Assist in the maintenance of our homes, including cleaning of bedrooms, lounges, dining areas, toilets, bathrooms, offices, corridors and other areas.
3. Follow our stated cleaning methods, observing hygiene practices to prevent cross infection.
4. Report any defects in machinery or materials to the Hotel Service Manager/Housekeeping Manager.
5. Take personal responsibility for your health and safety and that of your colleagues, adhering to our Health and Safety policy and COSHH regulations.
6. Participate in staff meetings and attend in-service training sessions as requested.
7. Provide assistance to other staff members as directed by the Hotel Service Manager/Housekeeping Manager.
8. Inform Care/Nursing Staff of any resident concerns observed.

Essential Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.

Person Specification:

• Good general education.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Good team player with a calm and professional approach.
