About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine & Product Design Intern to join our team at the Sustainable Design Studio. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative machines and products that promote sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new machines and products that meet our sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with our team to create comprehensive budgets and bill of materials.
  • Construct, fabricate, and test prototypes to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Prepare detailed schematics and technical drawings for our products.
  • Sources parts and components to support our design and development process.
  • Develop step-by-step assembly instructions for our products.
  • Improve and update the user experience of our current machine designs.
  • Design and develop recycled plastic products and molds.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Fusion 360 and have a good understanding of Excel. You should also have good communication and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £9.50-£15.00, depending on experience, as well as a 2-3 day working week and free parking. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
