Job Description:

  • Develop detailed financial models to support investment decisions for royalty, fixed payment, equity, and debt deal structures.
  • Research market perspectives, including analyst forecasts, with fluency in commercial revenue build and operational P&L forecasts.
  • Create presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage deal pipeline workstreams, including preliminary and full diligence.
  • Support investment memo writing.
  • Help monitor existing investments and support the deal team.
  • Synthesize and summarize key data insights and research for the deal team.
  • Be a team player, collaborator, and culture carrier at Blackstone.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a Finance/Economic discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in life sciences investment banking, consulting, or pharma/biotech.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to work closely with the investment team.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, and life sciences databases.
  • Good time management, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Critical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate a dynamic environment.
