**Job Description:**
As the successful Sales Estimator CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role within a growing sales team.
Duties include:
- Receiving, reviewing, and replying to customer RFQs and technical queries;
- Creating timely and accurate estimates and quotations from customer enquiries and technical drawings;
- Liaising with customers over the phone and via email regarding technical and non-technical questions, providing a client-centric service;
- Producing quotations to deadlines estimating all machining, materials, and inspection times for in-house elements and incorporating externally sourced elements such as sub-contract when applicable;
- Developing new and existing supplier relationships;
- Understanding and identifying machining methods of manufacture and selecting accurate cycle times (CNC Turning & Boring experience a distinct advantage);
- Liaising with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Extensive experience within precision engineering is required with extensive knowledge of machine capabilities/machining practices;
- The ability to read and translate technical drawings is essential;
- Accuracy and attention to detail are key to success;
- Computer literacy is essential;
- Excellent interpersonal, communicative, listening, and negotiation skills;
- A pride in your work and a keen interest in the company's resulting performance;
- Loyalty, commitment, and drive to enhance the performance of the business;
- Ability to use own initiative as well as working collaboratively as part of a team;
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise;

**Salary:** £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience; benefits include 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, NEST pension scheme, health care scheme, free onsite parking, excellent working conditions, and a true team environment.
