Senior EC&I Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EC&I Engineer to join our team and support a large UK Nuclear Sector Client on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and experience in the design of electrical systems, low voltage control gear, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and guide a team of Graduate EC&I Engineers and Designers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and manage control system designs, ensuring they meet project deadlines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
  • Assign tasks to Graduate EC&I Engineers and provide technical oversight.
  • Take responsibility for meeting project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain LTQR / Technical File in line with Quality Management Systems.
  • Manage subcontract suppliers and oversee the creation of CE&I technical specifications and commissioning documentation.
  • Interpret and create EC&I engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Author engineering reports and consolidate and present design and engineering documentation for internal and client approvals.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering Degree, HNC, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Expertise in the design of electrical systems, low voltage control gear, and control systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace (desirable).
  • Chartered Engineering Degree (desirable).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable).
