Job Summary:
Ocado Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Team Manager to join our Logistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery operation team, including recruitment, training, and performance management of all spoke drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery operation team, including recruitment, training, and performance management of all spoke drivers.
- Chair meetings with drivers, including absence, disciplinary, and welfare meetings, in line with Ocado policies.
- Ensure all health and safety measures are in place and followed, and that all training requirements are met and up to date at all times.
- Encourage self-improvement, training, and development of your teams to support succession planning and drive initiatives that enhance site-wide engagement and morale.
- Conduct formal meetings, understand and apply relevant policies appropriately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in conducting formal meetings and understanding and applying relevant policies.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
- Previous experience in a spoke/warehouse or logistics environment.
