Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is €62,274 to €98,223 per annum, adjusted pro rata for a full-time contract. Additionally, you will receive 34 days of annual leave entitlement and enjoy excellent internal and external training opportunities.
Job Description
This role involves providing psychological services to children aged 0-18 years and their families within an interdisciplinary framework and family-centered practice. You will also support other staff and students as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- A university degree or diploma (QQI level 8 equivalent) with honours in Psychology.
- An Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
- At least 60 days of supervised clinical placements or post-qualification work experience as a psychologist in relevant health settings.
- Experience working with children with disabilities, such as physical disability, autism, learning disability, etc.
- Knowledge and skills in conducting diagnostic assessments, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities.
