Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as an On-Premises Platform Specialist. This role will involve managing and optimising our virtual and physical server estate, ensuring high availability and performance across our network.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and enhancing both virtual and physical servers, as well as deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems to deliver reliable, secure access for clinical teams. Your expertise in server management, virtualisation, and optimisation will be vital in working closely with IT and clinical teams to implement best practices and support disaster recovery.
This is a unique opportunity to work within the NHS, supporting healthcare operations and contributing to the development of a robust, future-ready server infrastructure that truly makes a difference.
Main Duties- Assist in the setup, configuration, and upkeep of on-premises server and platform environments across NCA sites
- Aid in the deployment of physical and virtual servers, storage systems, databases, middleware components, and other platform infrastructure components, adhering to NHS standards and industry best practices
- Provide technical assistance to diagnose and resolve server and platform issues and incidents promptly, utilising problem-solving skills and familiarity with server and platform technologies
