Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the firm, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements, managing cash flow and forecasting processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure the firm's financial stability.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including VAT and tax filings.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support strategic planning and decision making.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in a financial management role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
