Volunteering Manager

The Volunteering Services team is at the heart of our support for volunteers across the movement, providing key services including the support centre, awards, grants, events & contingents. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Volunteering Manager to lead our HQ volunteers and support the UK Leadership team in recruiting, inducting, and supporting future volunteer leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Support key volunteer line managers with the recruitment, induction, training, and recognition of volunteers at HQ.
- Work closely with the UK Volunteer Support Team to develop systems, processes, and guidance to ensure they are smooth and welcoming.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer engagement and retention.
- Provide guidance and support to volunteer leaders to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage volunteers.
As a Volunteering Manager with The Scouts Association, you will have the opportunity to work with a positive, supportive, and collaborative team who are committed to making the team a great one to work in for all staff and volunteer colleagues.
