Job Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate and patient teachers to work as tutors in the northwest and surrounding areas, providing 1:1 tuition to students with varying needs.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description

As an Academic SEN Tutor, you will work with students aged 4-19 who have a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, and those who have been excluded from school or are asylum seekers. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, using your expertise to help students catch up on missed education and prepare for transition back to mainstream school.

You will travel between students' homes for each session, so access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable. A qualified teacher with QTS or similar qualification is ideal, but we also welcome experienced tutors who can demonstrate their ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.

In this role, you will be part of a supportive team that prioritizes the welfare and safety of our students. We undertake thorough safeguarding checks on all workers, and all candidates must hold a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
