About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Gather & Gather. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our food preparation and service areas are always clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized to high standards.
  • Support Food Preparation: Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Manage Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and manage recycling and waste bins efficiently.
  • Stock Management: Help with unloading deliveries, organizing storerooms, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety Standards: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
