Senior Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Representative to join our team in the UK. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities- Match Broadridge products and services with client pain points, utilizing comprehensive knowledge and proof points to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps.
- Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook.
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers.
- Track progress towards meeting sales goals.
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
- Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software.
- Multi-lingual skills, particularly in German and French, are highly valued.
- Experience in client services or sales support is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively over the phone and in writing.
- The ability to influence others and persuade them to change their minds or behavior.
- Active listening skills, with the ability to understand the points being made by others.
- A service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to actively looking for ways to help others.
- The ability to deal with rejection and persist in the face of pushback.
