Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local Primary Schools.

About the Role:

  • Support pupils with SEN in a Primary School setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as well as providing one-to-one support to pupils
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Patience and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to varying needs and situations
  • DBS Certificate on the update service, or ability to apply for one
  • Experience of working with young people, and two professional references
