About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a Safeguarding and Welfare Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting the welfare of young people and ensuring their safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Undertake direct social work, investigating concerns and assessing risk and protective factors.
  • Work to legal options to support investigation and protection, using contingency planning.
  • Provide clear written reports to child protection conferences and other meetings.
  • Collaborate with children, families, and communities to formulate care plans.
  • Ensure planning and review of statutory work with children is in accordance with regulation.
  • Establish and maintain good communication across departments.
  • Ensure wellbeing of employees and service-users by promoting and complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Hold a social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Engage in continual professional development.
  • Be registered with Social Work England.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum based on location and experience.
